Easter Egg Hunts

Easter morning Lizzy found that the Easter Bunny had left a surprise!
She was very excited to find some Sleeping Beauty dress-up slippers. She absolutely loves them and wears them all around the house.
Here she is with her treats from the Easter Bunny.

We were lucky the day before Easter to be able to go to two different Easter Egg Hunts. Lizzy had a blast! And got a lot of treats!
A family in our ward put on an Easter Egg hunt for the kids in the ward and they had tonnes of eggs. They also gave all the kids little buckets with shovels to gather up the eggs in. Lizzy insisted on picking up the eggs in her shovel and carrying them to her bucket. Here she is bringing an egg to her bucket. She was running and trying to be as quick as she could find more and more egss.

Checking out her loot! Look how many eggs she has! Her bucket was overflowing!

Colouring eggs and showing off her creations.

Here's the other Egg Hunt put on by the group that I belong to called PAVA. My friend and I had fun putting the eggs together and then hiding them in the park. But it was more fun watching all the kids hunt for the eggs. They get so excited, it's cute!

"Look at what I found!"

After the hunt, the kids played at the park. Lizzy is so brave and she showed all the other kids how to slide down these poles by her arms. It was the first time I've seen her do that and it was quite impressive for a 3 year old! She's fearless.

Well, we had a great Easter weekend and Lizzy had so much fun. But we do miss the good Canadian chocolate.
